Ashtanga Yoga gives you strength , practicing daily will keep your body and mind strong! Like anything in life just going through the moves won't cut it!!you could say you practice yoga as many do but your body will reflect your practice! Of course there are many different types of yoga .Ashtanga suits me it's not for everyone , each move practiced correctly will challenge your mind and body both working together . Warrior pose is a perfect example of what you can get out of a pose or Not .Alignment ,breathing ,balance are all part of this pose you can get as much or as little as you won't from this seemingly easy pose All poses are there for a reason! Healthy eating is about Balance & discipline !! Like my ashtanga yoga I love my daily juicing /smoothies I'm Always experimenting with different recipes as much as I'm trying new balances and postures with some yoga fun!! But you don't get the fun without the discipline ;my daily practice gives me the ability to do strength moves such as this; because of my commitment within my yoga and the other sporting activities I participate in .Everything to the full or not at All in my books including diet , eat crap fell like crap !I'm fuelled on plant power and at 47 I'm getting stronger & discovering new abilities with my body every Day! This is one of the poses in our fun league of extraordinary yogis Challenge presently on instagram!! The smoothie recipe I'm holding as follows ( 1/2 fresh juiced pineapple kiwi fruit x 1 then blend with banana x1 a teaspoon of Chia seeds and a cup of coconut milk!) Enjoy!!

Yoga is Art ! Some say that people that use instagram or alike to show there yoga aren't true Yogis!!Well The more people that get to see yoga ,and there are so many types of yoga to explore its all good to me !! YOGA is for everyone it's not exclusive and the more work you put in the more you will receive !it's also pretty difficult for people who seek inspiration if there's little for them to look at ;I say more yoga makes the world a better place!!

How many people exercise with there children? How many people especially at my age sit on the side lines unable to participate because of there fitness levels !! For me being injured is so frustrating as I hate to be unable to get outside and enjoy life especially with my family.I've actually torn a muscle on my right side of my back whilst working which only prevents me from certain movements on on the right side ! I'm self-employed so no sick pay you just have to get on with things!! No I don't expect most people to be able to do what I'm doing in this photo with or without a bad back !Because most people don't do yoga,or exercise enough. However I've only been doing yoga a few years But my previous fitness and healthy diet have enabled me to accomplish GREAT things in my ashtanga but I apply the same principle in all things I do in my life NOTHING by halfs !! This is how myself and my partner teach our children ; so why sit around watching your children ? GETOUTSIDE Embrace the myriad of Excitement there is in exercise!!

You REALLY don't need Money to practice YOGA ! There are often people who teach for free ! & a good book perhaps from even the library like (Petri raisanen) can help you on your yoga journey !Money should not stop you from practicing something that could change your life & you can practice yoga anywhere!! The most important thing in yoga is your wanting to do it and if want to progress you will ! Laziness isn't a requirement though! Lol! I'm going to be doing a yoga challenge on instagram hosted by @kinomacgregor , @beachyogagirl , #Mayibeginyoga starts may 1st I'm going to do it with my children and partner .There are many challenges and helpfully yogis on instagram a great way to look at yoga!Enjoy!!
